Just Give It All To GOD

SCRIPTURE: "...The harvesters tore the cart to pieces, then chopped up the wood and sacrificed the cows as a burnt offering to GOD." ~1 Samuel 6:14-(MSG)~

OBSERVATION: The harvesters gave everything to GOD that the Philistines used to carry and deliver the Ark of GOD back to them, as a sacrifice of burnt offering...

APPLICATION: After meditating awhile on how these cows found their way home, returning with them the Ark of GOD, on this cart that the Philistines built...I asked Andy about the sacrificing of the animals (cows) to GOD..."Isn't one of the requirements of the sacrificial animals be, that they should never have worn a yoke or harness, and yet these cows were halling this cart?" Interesting enough, Andy replied that, "The people probably didn't know what to do with the cows and all that came from the Philistines, but to just give it all to GOD." WOW! What a revelation...A lot of times we run into situations where we just don't know what to do, or where to turn, we're in "stuck mode", slow mode, no-mode, and we're at a lost! We need to be more sensitive to GOD'S Presence in our lives~~HE'S here, ready and waiting for us to "just give it all over to HIM!" We have a problem? Give it to GOD. We need answers? Give it to GOD. We have needs? Give it to GOD. We feel we're in lost or in stuck mode? Give it to GOD. GOD IS THE ANSWER! HE has all the answers we need. May not be the answers we want, but trust in GOD, "Ground ourselves firmly in GOD" (1 Samuel 7:3-MSG)~~And GOD will lead the way...Afterall, GOD led the cows back home~Never "straying neither right nor left, mooing all the way" (vs. 12-MSG)...

PRAYER: LORD, thank YOU for sharing in the Gems of YOUR Word! For showing us how faithful even cows can be...Thank YOU LORD for leading us, and keeping us on YOUR path, and enabling us to "just give it all to YOU LORD! In JESUS' Name! Amen AND AMEN!
