No scriptures stand out to me. What now?
On occasion when we do our reading for the day, no scripture seems to 'stand out.' What do you journal on then? This can happen, but not very often.
When this happens, instead of choosing just one verse, try doing a whole passage or even the whole chapter. Sometimes the lesson is in a bigger peice of scripture than a single verse. If none of that works for you, then try finding a deeper meaning in your favorite passage or just pick a different book to journal from for that day.
This does happen, but do not use it for an excuse to not learn from other parts of the bible. Many people only read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and thats all the bible they want. God has lessons on every page so be sure you do your best to find the lesson he has for you in each days reading.
