ABANDON OUR STUBBORN WAYS!

When GOD’S appointed Judge died, the people turned back to their fleshly-stubborn ways and served other gods of the foreigners in the land. Even though they knew not to worship and go after other gods, they still did it anyway! It was the convenience of their heart for the flesh that made them stubborn…

We know right from wrong, and especially what the Bible tells us to do (or NOT to do), but we still war against the flesh…Every day! We have to just surrender our flesh to GOD and all its ways, abandoning the practices of our stubborn ways!

Easier said than done…But GOD is looking to see how Faithful we are, and to WHO we are Faithful to….”in order to test Israel by them, whether they will keep the way of the LORD to walk in it as their fathers did, or not.” (Judges 2:22) And by our Faith/Actions, will determine in the areas that we need to grow in and/or abandon as well…

HEAVENLY FATHER, thank YOU for enabling us to grow and strengthen in Faith IN YOU LORD! We need YOU LORD to help us abandon our practices or our stubborn ways! We can’t do it without YOU LORD, but by the Power and Strength of YOUR HOLY SPIRIT may we die-to-self daily, and experience more of YOU freely….May we have a burning desire to obey and follow after YOU…Every moment by moment and from Glory to Glory! In the Matchless Name of CHRIST JESUS! AMEN AND AMEN! I love you
